Mathematics at Seton Catholic College aims to develop skill and mastery in the application of concepts taught and to teach students to apply this to familiar and unfamiliar situations. We also aim to promote a positive attitude towards learning Mathematics, encouraging students to appreciate the role, value and use of Mathematics in society.
Technology has been a major factor in changing our homes, workplaces and daily lives. The Math Faculty aims to apply meaningful applications, that enhance teaching and learning. Students are able to access purposeful interactivities that assists in their understanding of concepts and allows for continuous practice and application.
