Seton Catholic College’s Christian Service-Learning Program is a vital part of our students’ formation, encouraging them to live their Faith in action. Grounded in our Catholic values, the program offers opportunities across six Service categories: Compassion, Justice, Courage, Outreach, Inspiration and Wisdom. Each Service category aligns with the Retreat theme for that year level, deepening students’ understanding of faith through both reflection and action. Students can choose to complete service in any of these areas, with Year 10 students beginning their journey through our Senior Service Program. Across Years 10 to 12, senior students are required to complete a minimum of 50 hours of Christian Service. Many go well beyond this, earning a place in Seton’s 100 Club, which recognises those who complete 100 or more hours. This year, our Year 12 students have already collectively contributed over 9872 hours of service - an inspiring reflection of their commitment to others and our shared faith in action.
