Each year the Music Department takes approximately 120 music students to the Swanleigh in the Swan Valley. The entire music department is dismantled and transported to the various rehearsal rooms that we establish at the site. The Music Camp is open to students from years 7 -12 who are enrolled in an ensemble such as Flute Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, Junior Band, Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Junior Choir, Senior Choir, Setonics Choir or one of the Rock Bands.
The students spend 3 days working with their vibrant music tutors, guest artists and outside entertainers to accomplish great skills, good musicianship and develop wonderful friendships. The Music Camp is an exciting opportunity for the music students to spend time together, rehearse and support each other’s progress.
